About Our Program
Our children's ministry uses The Gospel Project curriculum, which includes weekly Bible memory verses. This supplemental program offers an optional, more challenging opportunity for students who want to go deeper into Scripture memorization.
This program is completely optional and doesn't take up any class time. It's designed to encourage families to engage with God's Word at home while providing an exciting challenge for students who love memorizing Scripture.
Submission Process
- Memorize: Choose a track and memorize the passages
- Submit: Submit a video of your child reciting the passages
- Review: Our volunteer reviewers check each submission and provide feedback
- Celebration: Approved submissions earn prizes and recognition!
Tracks
We have split the memory goals into different tracks. You can memorize any tracks you want. Each track is pulled together around a central theme or will be an entire chapter of the Bible.
Each track has two levels. Depending on the age of your child, they will memorize the younger or older level for each track. The only difference is that the younger level has fewer passages per track (roughly 5-8 verses) while the older level includes those passages but adds several more (roughly 15-20 verses).
Prizes!
Each track completed earns a small prize. Once you complete 7 tracks at the older level, you will earn a large prize of an ESV Study Bible!
Any Translation
Students may use any Bible translation they prefer. We support ESV, NIV, NASB, CSB, NLT, KJV, and NKJV, but feel free to use whichever translation your family reads together.
Privacy Info
The recitation videos are recorded on your device and uploaded once you submit them. They are stored on local storage on virtual server owned by Luke Ehresman and hosted on Digital Ocean, not stored in publicly accessible storage. They are not shared with any third parties other than the review team at Cornerstone. The videos will be deleted after they have been reviewed.
